Desperate for Decent Doctor in W10, first baby imminent

I am 33 weeks pregnant and while I rarely use my GP I suspect all that will change pretty soon!

I have had a GP in the W10 area for quite a while she is not good at all. I have been misdagnosed a number of times, once with a kidney infection as IBS, which I had never suffered from previously! When I finally diagnosed myself from the internet (seriously) I crawled back and was only given three days worth of antibiotics, even the Pharmacist took one look at me bent over, sweating and shaking, still wearing my pyjamas in the shop and said that wasn't going to be nearly enough, she was right.

I really don't go to the doctor unless I need to yet she is consistently tightfisted about proscribing medication or referrals though this has changed in part since I got private health care. When I hurt my knee I was told I would have to live with it until I mentioned I had health insurance; then I was sent to a surgeon for an MRI scan who wondered why perhaps they hadn't referred me to a physiotherapist first, as I had a very common runners injury. At one point I was having serious trouble sleeping and she suggested I drink a couple of glasses of wine every night, I kid you not. So while it's been annoying for me I think in the future, with a first baby, I will want a GP I have confidence in, if anyone could suggest someone they are happy with in W10 I would very much appreciate it.

Sounds like any other doctor you chose would be an improvement on the current one. Why not ask a neighbour?

Don't you need a midwife?
