is my head likely to explode or is anemia?

Hi all
"short" background...
I had a miscarriage last wk. Bleeding very heavy had a scan wed they said i still had too much internal "products" (hate that turm) doc said we try the tablets and re scan in a wk to see if i need a d&c...They were horrific all the contractions/pain was from my belly button up and into my chest and throat! The doctor said even though i was bleeding heavier then i should be that the bleeding would get even heavier for the next few days to "expell everything" but the opposite happened my bleeding stopped within a few hours of taking them and other then a little spotting and one gaint clot ystday its stopped since. Not good...
Iv felt really awful since.
I got a horrible sore throat and ears, sorry tmi but i hocked up a lump of phlem and blood sat morning (yuck!) im taking loads of strepsil etc and on tylex for the mc pain and iron too.
Thing is my head is awful too when i bend to pick up something i get an awful sharp pain in my head i get dizzy and when i lift my head up i get flashy lights. Is it anemia? Im going to the g.p this eve i think il probably need an antibiotic for the throat and ears. Doubt she'l be able to do too much bout the bleeding/possibility of infection there would she? But im back on thurs for my re scan but im really weak and exhaused just feel horrid any advice please?

Have no advice Poorbear, but sounds like you've really been going through it, so really hope the Doctor could help. Am sending you a big hug - there, just how unhelpful is that! x

the doc started me on two sets of antibiotics and thinks my head wont explode but that the painkillers were too strong and didnt agree with me and also that iv a horrid ear infection which was why iv been so dizzy etc
not looking to good from the mc front though but hopefully il be grand! Just a moaner thanks again for your kind reply xxx

Can Doc prescribe a restful holiday too? Sounds like you totally deserve one. Really hope you're better soon. x

it could be anemia, I suffer from it, (on and off for 2 years) get exhausted and have muscle aches, also get low bp and have dizzy spells, flashy lights etc....make sure you get plenty of rest!

iv had low iron in the past and taken galfer for a couple of months Roobear and my g.p said she'd give me the form to get my bloods checked again but sure with all the million and one things she was checkin me for and all the talkin and she was tryin to get me to "open up" we forgot and i left without the form... I will buzz them for it but its so awkward cause dh needs to take a day off to look after the boys for me to go to get them done and he took last wk off to take care of me and gave his work no notice and our car bust this am on his way to work and he couldnt go in so they are not well impressed id say at the mo...
But mayb they could do it for me on thurs in the maternity hosp? Im feeling miles better today still dizzy and flashy on and off esp when i bend for something but im not as bad as i have been the last few days thankfully cause it was scary!
