I had the mirina coil fitted 6 weeks ago, fine for 3 weeks, lots of stomach cramps and now I cant get to sleep at night, I generally fall asleep around 2-3am which isnt good as I'm only getting about 5 hours sleep!
I'm not depressed as I am happy and not anxious, I am tierd and yawn alot but cant seem to drift off as usual. I just cant sleep.
Anyone had anything similar, I have a check up on it in 2 weeks as this is the earliest I can get anyone else had this problem?
I think it is the hormones which are realeased in the coil, there not a strong dose about half of that of the contaceptive pill!
I have had insomnia before my periods when I used to get them with the coil but only for 1 night but now with the coil it's everynight!!!
