German measles at 3 years old even though had MMR jab?

Does anybody know if it is possible to get measles or german measles even if MMR jab was given at 15 months? My DS1 is nearly 4 and has all the symptoms of measles - apart from the pin-prick pink/red rash - his is white, rough, bumpy skin. But he has dry cough, sneezing, aches in limbs, fatigue, swollen lymph nodes behind both ears.

Yes you can. Friend's son get mumps after having the 1st lots of MMR. I think (although may be wrong) that it's the booster when they are around 3 1/2 that given immunity. If it is it gets reported to the health protection agency.

the first jab leaves around 10% unprotected. The second jab covers most of the 10% left unprotected from the first jab
