Is it me or do some people just have all the crap that life has to throw at them?

My friend has had the most horrible deal. Death of her son, husband walking out forcing her to sell her beloved home. Chest infection after chest infection leading to possibly having to leave her job, and now a recurrence of melanoma. It makes me cry to think about what she's been through and what she now will face

You are right ,some people just get way more crap than you would think possible .

so sorry for your friend - some people do seem to get all the crap and they tend to be the nicest people too IME which makes it so much sadder

I know, she is so lovely. She took our dog on when we couldn't cope with him any more because of DS and also because he's so damaged. I felt so guilty that she was having to put up with this insane dog but she's worked wonders with him but I'm sure it's added to her stress.
