It worries me that all the polls saying there will be a Labour majority, will lead to low voter turnout and those that do vote will be frickin tories!!

I think that Labour will probably win. I think that their majority will not be anything like what is being predicted (thankfully). I think that the turnout will be low.

I think you might be right. Plus in the local elections, the Tories lost 400+ seats but 3/4 of them didn't switch to Labour. I think there's a risk that was a protest vote and some people may revert to voting Tory.

I work in a very left leaning sector and despair of people going on about "when there's a Labour government "
It's making me superstitious.

The labour/lib dem split is what could let torys in again here. There is usually a comfortable outright tory majority but reform look to be taking a chunk of it. At the moment both labour and lib dems leaflets have polling on showing that they are in the lead. It's going to be really close here and I wouldn't be totally shocked if tory candidate won because of this.

I share your concern. Though on the day there will not be England or Scotland playing football as a distraction.
