Just rewatching the QT video from last night for another thread - from 1:54.02

Sunak got asked about leaving the ECHR. Then pressed by Fiona Bruce. I'm sure he says "I've been very clear. I believe everything we are doing is incompliant with our rules and regulations" 😂

Freudian slip or what? 1:56 ish

I just listened and watched. I think he meant to say "in compliance".
I can totally see your interpretation though!

Yes I'm sure he did but fumbled it and said the complete opposite. Freud would say this was Sunaks subconscious revealing his true thoughts. Sunak didn't correct himself either 😂

For me the shock would be discovering Rishi Sunak thinks. Anything.

Me too. And his team, who are either breathtakingly stupid or secret Labour supporters.

Yes I know about Freudian slips (Freud actually called them parapraxes and I've read the original discourse). But I don't think Sunak said incompliant, which would indeed be the opposite of compliant, I think he said in compliant, two words, which means the mistake was not the opposite but incorrect part of speech, compliant instead of compliance, and wouldn't be a Freudian slip. Also in the heat he wouldn't have had time to correct it, if he even caught it himself.
