If you are researching or have family tree links in Aus you might like to try this new one.
It is newspapers and I have found all sorts of stuff. I think I may have even found a photo of my great great grandfather?!?!

A bit late but I just found your post. Found literally thousands of links to my Great Grandfather who was an Australian politician in the early 20th Century - I know relatively little about his career (as we are estranged from that part of the family) so that is great - thank you!

Wow - thanks eidsvold. My husband (and therefore my daughters) are 'Cornstalkers', descendants from a First Fleeter. He had a colourful life that we knew of - but there is so much more in those articles, including the suggestion made in 1930 that there might be a multi million dollar estate still hanging about in England waiting to be claimed by his descendants!
< I wish!>

Ah that's brilliant - found LOADS of articles on my lot over there!
One of them was run over and killed by a runayway railway locomotive when he was 13! :( Always wondered what happened to him as he just sort of disappeared off the tree...
