If so how much do they charge?

Debretts charge about £400 for 3 surnames from memory. Have considered it, but don't ever seem to have that amount of spare money. To start with you give them as many direct ancestors as you can, and they take it from there.

How much do you get for 400?

Approximately £30 ph for a genealogist.
