Is there somewhere I can see a birth cert on line?

Want to find out about a parent but don't want to go into family tree as am NC with siblings and don't want that can of worms opened.

Does anyone know of I can view a birth certificate online as opposed to just a list of registrations please?

You will need to order the certificate using the reference you find online. Websites only hold the lists, not the full info.

You may find the odd scanned copy of a certificate on someone's personal website, but you'd have to be blindingly lucky to find the one you want.
