How do I turn it off?

I'm going on holiday and don't want to be charged obscene amounts when people leave silly messages like

helloooooo call me

It costs me a fortune and all those who know me well know I'm away and wouldn't call me iyswim

thank you

can you not put a £10 going abroad bolt on for the duration, then you can use your phone if you need to for when you are a bit bored emergencies? Then you don't need to worry.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/06/2010 14:36

Didn't know I could do an abroad bolt

hmmmmmmm

might be worth doing that as don't want a huge bill

but then again easier to turn off but couldn't work out how. I will look in options thanks

I'm with O2 and used to be 1750 and 1760 to turn on and off

might try that

I called T-mobile to turn mine off when I realised I was being charged for using it after 15 years of it being free.
Apparently it's because I have an iPhone

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/06/2010 14:48

Omg frazzle!! Really?

That's awful

I've been with o2 for years and always had free ansaphone and it's very handy but I wouldn't pay for it

as usual these companies don't look after their faithful customers but try new offers to entice new customers and forget those who have stuck with them for years

'gets off soap box'
