Spotted on the Three.co.uk website that they are offering microSIM for the iPad, and have two data plans - both on rolling monthly contracts (so you are not tied into any 12 / 18 / 24 month contract with this)...

1 GB of data ..... 7.50 per month
10 GB of data .... 15.00 per month

I suppose any 'heavy' users of the web could ask for a higher allowance after a year. After an 18 month contract at 7.50 per month for 5 GB (for mobile broadband using a Three USB modem) they were happy to offer 15 GB for the same monthly fee.

It will be interesting to see what the other networks offer for the iPad, given the latest contracts for the iPhone are generally only offering 500 MB {and XXX minutes} at the lower end of their range and up to 60 pounds a month for 1 GB of data (which I think is stingy - but perhaps they can justify it on 'unlimited' minutes or texts, on top of the data transfer).

I'm paying £10 for 1Gb on a 30 day rolling contract on my iPad, but with 10 days to go on my first month I've only used about 30 Mb. I will probably use a lot more during the school holidays when I'm out & about though, as during the term I'm nearly always on the wifi either at home or at work.
