I quite fancy one of these, I would probably buy it on pay as you go, but I'm moving to Dublin in August and I'm not sure if I'll be able to use it there. Is anybody 3G literate and Irish who could tell me?

Hey, I had a blackberry when I went out to Ireland and just brought an Irish sim with O2 Ireland. Didn't encounter any problems.

I forgot that most (if not all) of the UK mobile providers are also in Ireland. Thanks Claire. As it happens I think I can only get the Streak through O2 so that should work out well.

No probs - they were really helpful with me. O2, Meteor and vodafone seem the biggest suppliers out there. Whereabouts are you moving to?

Dublin, I'm not sure of the exact area as the house that we were buying fell through , but probably not too far from the extended Luas (ie Sandyford/Carrickmines).
