Virgin Mobile network out of action?

Anyone else? Or is it just me?

Still working for me (N Wales/south of Liverpool)

I sent a couple of text messages around 16:00 (but have had no response yet - unusual unless my sister is out of coverage as she is using Vodafone and going towards Anglesey).

Then again, she may be driving !!

He is on the same network and his phone is ok boo hoo I really heart my (ancient)blackberry.

Have you swapped SIMs over, just in case yours has been cloned and disabled by VM ?

Is the phone showing it has found a network, or just "searching" ?

Keeps changing from searching to sos. Will try swapping thing, thanks.

SOS sometimes means the network signal is low.

My Orange has dead spots in the lounge, my VM has dead spots in the kitchen. Asda mobile (uses Vodafone) seems fine anywhere in the house.

If your phone with DHs SIM is still searching or goes to SOS, then can you try it outside - maybe connection loose inside (so aerial not connecting well). If it works outside but not in, sounds likely the wireless section not working properly.
