E-Books on I-pod touch

I want to put some e-books on my touch. Do I have to download from the app Amazon Kindle (who don't have the books I want) or can I download from WHS or Waterstones onto my desktop and somehow transfer to my ipod touch? Any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to look for ebook applications for the iphon/touch
Ereader is definately a possibility here

I believe that Stanza here is also highly regarded

Imagine: thanks for the responde I have Stanza on my touch but they dont' have the books I want but just checked their site and I see you can move your own books in - will check it out tonight

Stanza is great. Loads of free books.
