Would this be any good then?Its free so it cant hurt to try and cnet are a well known site,I have downloaded stuff from them in the past and it has always been safe.

Or there is a free download of CyberLink suite here,I had this free with my pc and its the one I always use,never needed a seperate decoder.

VLC is absolutely free and plays pretty much everything.
