I want to buy an O2 PAYG phone. I want to use it for internet so I would like it to be 3g. I have seen 3 phones which seem ok although they differ greatly in price. Possibly looking at Nokia 2730 at about £50. Nokia 5230 at about £100 or Nokia 6700 Slide at £150. I guess I am not sure if I can justify extra £100 even though the camera on the 6700 is much better.
Any thoughts.

Wondered if there are any other features you want or 'need' on these.

Must go out soon, but will look to see how the different phone specs compare (GSMarena.com might help anyone who cannot find details on other sites).

Google reviews for each phone, doesn't matter what extra features something has if it's known to crash break.

Most internet phones are very limited anyway, if you really want full internet you might be better off getting a netbook.

I made a small comparison table here and there are some differences between the touch-screen 5230 and the top of your range 6700, so it is back to you again to decide... It doesn't cover everything (and I used details from the GSMarena website) but it should help "at a glance" comparison.

It looks to me as if you should go into some shops and see if you can try the 5230 and 6700 to see how easy they are to use. As I see it the more costly one will be better camera-wise (comparable with Sony Ericsson's using Carl Zeiss optics) but battery life looks better on the 5230 even though it has GPS and a few other features the more costly model doesn't.

PS sorry for the delay - I had to rebuild a PC to find some software I thought I had on other machines and had not forgotten your query.
