Well seeing as AOL=TalkTalk I can't see why you are having problems....

Sorry that is probably not particularly helpful.l...but perhaps more helpful than the AOL/talk call centres (which incidently are slightly more helpful before 10:30 in the morning when you are more likely to get Ireland rather than Asia).

Can you explain your setup in a bit more detail?

You used to have broadband provided by AOL and then you switched to talktalk? Or do you only have an online AOL email account?

Why do you need to access Mumsnet "via AOL"?

i always log onto aol and the mn via aol.
well i can still log into aol but cannot get on mn via it. i have to go through internet explorer

If I've got this right then TalkTalk is providing your broadband, so you don't need to use the AOL software anymore unless there's something you can only get at through it.

Internet Explorer (or some other better browser such as Firefox) is the "right" thing to be using to access web sites.

So think of the AOL stuff as being a little extra thing that you might sometimes use rather than your main way onto the internet.
