I've just got a new iPhone and for some reason it won't sync so was going to try taking it out and putting it back in.

Or has anyone got any suggestions as to why it won't sync. I've got an iPod nano that i've used with no prob before.

I just tried it and it says

itunes was unable to load provider data from sync services. Reconnect or try later.

Auto Play is coming up now to import pictures or view files but it wasn't doing that earlier.

Before that a microsoft windows box comes up and that says

Sync Server has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Anyone any ideas?

What did you do to solve this, as I am having the same problem with my new iPhone!!!

Many thanks!

for you isaulte. I didn't end up solving it. I found something on another forum about restoring it but it only did it for so long and then did the same as before with the same error message. I'm gonna either ring Apple or go to a store over the weekend if i don't do it. Let me know if you find a solution
