will post this in education and geeky stuff.

just wondering if there's any free downloadable paint-type software that's child-friendly. we use a little paint thing within wordpad which came with Windows (we don't have MS office, only Open office) but I was wondering if there's anything else available?

DD is starting to get interested in it. we made a picture of a robot

when I was younger I used CorelDraw, made some fantastic stuff on there but I'm guessing it's still expensive.

TIA

Isn't "Paint" available within the accessories menu of your Windows PC?

Do you have any drawing software with your printer/camera/scanner....sometimes you do.

Other than that you can download a program called GIMP (yes really). I would say that this is comparable to Pantshop so maybe a lot more technical than you are looking for.

(Oh and of course what about OpenOffice Draw!
