I had a pile of papers resting on my keyboard and some combination of keys must have been pressed which has left me with large text and poor resolution. I've tried going thru Control Panel to reset it but it shows it as at the highest resolution - and via the 'View' menu to reset the text size but it makes no difference. Can anyone help?

If you are in Internet Explorer, try View/Zoom/100%

The key combination that works in most software* to change the text size is:
hold down the Ctrl key and move the scroll wheel on your mouse.

*Windows, that is - I've no idea whether the same works on a Mac.

Just remembered - if this is MS Word, then it's most likely that the accidental zoom will stick, so if the text is still large when you next open the document, change the zoom, then make some minor change (just adding and then deleting a space will do) then save as usual. The changed zoom will then be saved as well.

Have you tried the classic... turn it off, turn it on again?

You may pretend to be a nanny, but I can tell you work in pc support
