help needed with Cbeebies games site wont work for me!!!!

Hi

please help.

dd getting upset that i cant get the games on the cbeecbies site to work, i click on the game we want, it clicks and buzzes away then says Done but its not loaded.

Missing charlie and lola cloud hopping.

Using a laptop and wireless connection, Iplayer works so we can watch the programmes but its the games we need!!!!

what am I doing wrong??

DD thinks I can fix anything - I dont want to have to call someone in and blow my cover!!!!!

post the link to the site and I'll see if it works on my laptop.

You might need to download some software like Java or something. That is often needed for games.

oh thanks for replying - dont know how to do that! but give me a minute and I can get the name up.

its just on teh bbc cbeebies home page with an iconn called games, that then opens up a menu of the choices but when i choose one it wont load but does say done.

tried loading flash direct from the BBC website as this is what they recommend to run their games but it still doesnt work.....

any tips advice on how to fix this would be very welcome....

try this page it might help. I would think you would need shockwave player or Java

doh. hang my head in embarassment - its loading now.... i THOUGHT i had loaded flash but when loading shockwave I realised i had to actually click on OPEN before it would download.....

its doingit now so fingers crossed it works....

oh goodee, bit late in the day for your dd but hopefully she'll be able to play tomorrow.

fingers very very crossed....shockwave seems to be there ok, but flash is still loading but seems to be stuck as its been on 6.8% for the last few minutes....

successfully loaded both programs but still wont let me download any of the games - it trys and says done but NOTHING!!

Do you have separate accounts on your computer?
If so, is the one you are logged on to when you are downloading/installing flash & shockwave an administrator account? if not, you may not be able to install them.

dont think I have, i am the only one who uses it.
