Because I don't have internet access right now but wanted to use one of my apps but I can't find it anywhere - it's driving me mad. It was there last night, but I was connected then & now I can't open the Apps Store - is that where they're kept? I'll be pissed off if they require constant internet access.

They definitely downloaded because I synced it to my Mac today & they're on there (the Mac).

(I haven't had my Touch for long, needless to say!)

Some apps might require internet access to run but many won't. It depends on what it's trying to do.

The app will be somewhere on one of your "desktops". Try flicking your finger from left to right on the main "home page" and new pages of icons should appear. I think that new apps appear on the last page on the right.

You only go into the App Store to buy new apps.

thanks! It's the FM radio one I want to use. I can see why some need internet access but I couldn't understand why I'd have to go into the store every time.

I've done as you suggest & nothing happens. aargh!!!! I love my new toy but it's driving me maaaad!

The radio app will require internet connection to play, but the icon should still be on you ipod touch.

Badgers: problem solved... I didn't realise one had to RE-sync from the main computer & drag them onto the home screen from there in itunes. God knows why - what if you don't have another computer? Anyway, all sorted, thank you.

err, sorry for the double post, never done that before

I recently connected mine to the computer, but because I didn't tell it to sync the Apps (there was a box to tick under the Apps tab) it took all my Apps off my phone. Was very as I was doing really well on TapFish!

Oops!

Yes, have discovered that about the FM app . Am a bit pissed off about that actually. Are there any radio apps that work without internet connection?

I think your iTouch is never going to work as a radio without the internet connection as it has no other way of getting the radio signal - there's no transmitter built in or anything.

If you're on a wireless connection you ought to be able to download the app right from the iTouch and see it on your handset right away and thereafter too.

comixminx · 26/03/2010 19:48

(Assuming I've not misread your posts though - maybe you did do that but it did something that my computer doesn't do! are you on a Mac or a PC?)

BadgersPaws · 26/03/2010 23:34

You shouldn't have to resync, if you bought it from the App Store it should just appear...

Have you found the other screens of apps, the multiple home pages?
