so tell me about blackberries

We are off on holiday next week and need access to email. The cottage does not have broadband. If i got a blackberry could i then raad my work email?

The big question is does your company support Blackberries?

If not then does you company support web email access? If it does then any mobile internet device "should" be able to get at them, you don't need to get a Blackberry.

The final option is if your work email has standard POP email access, which isn't that common, if it does then you'll need a gadget with an email client (I think the Blackberry does have one).

The one issue looming over all of those is the quality of the phone network where the cottage is, you could have the right gadget but not be able to see a thing...
