That bigger port is a SCART plug.

The other port is indeed a VGA connector, I've managed to find your TV's manual on the internet and checked it out.

It also appears that your TV is actually somewhat "high-def" in that it can display images at a higher resolution that a "normal" low def TV can (it can do 1280 by 784).

So presuming that your laptop has a VGA port then connect it with a VGA cable to the TV (if you don't have a cable they're dead easy to buy from electronics/computer shops) and you should be off.

If you have any problems your TVs instruction manual has some more details on how to deal with any problems.
