My printer won't do anything - any ideas?

It's switched on, connected to laptop etc etc, but when I send something to print, it just sits in a 'pending' queue. Lights are on the printer as normal. Have tried switching it off (overnight) in the hope it was having a hissy fit, but still got the pending queue of print jobs. Has been fine up till now. It's a Hewlett Packard. Any tips?

Go to the HP site and see if there are new drivers. Sometimes printers, god knows why, just drop their drivers and won't work.

And cancel everything in the print queue.
