Am very excited! What do i need to know before i start loading it all up and what are THE essential apps i need. I want to really organise my life on it and have games too. Won't have a clue how to use it though or probably start it up.

I shall watch this with interest as I'm in the same boat. You could start, as I have, by looking here.

new one out in a few months is supposed to have better camera/video etc. Hoping it's out before DC3 is born so I can play with it in hospital!

nannyj · 15/03/2010 10:26

I really wanted to wait until the new one is out but i'm on my second pay as you go phone this year and am not going to buy another one and waste the money.

Thanks chica, that website is great. Am worried when i get it though i'll not be able to use it. There should be an iphone for dummies book!

I nearly got one at the weekend but am currently sitting on my hands to try and wait till June for the new one. I was playing with one in the shop and they are so nice.

My friend has a great app, it knows where you are location wise and directs you to nearby coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Not sure what its called though.

MmeLindt · 15/03/2010 10:32

My favourite, must-have Apps are:

Kindle for iPhone - download books onto your iPhone from Amazon

Twitterific

Shazam

Facebook

WeatherPro

CalenGoo - better calender than on iPhone

WhatsApp - if your friends have an iPhone, you can 'text' them free

Blogpress - update blog on the go

Periodtracker

Nespresso - order from iPhone

I have a range of Apps for DC, Tozzle, Pollock, Touch4, Brushes, LPS to keep the DC happy if we are waiting in a restaurant/cafe.

Am impatiently awaiting the MN app.

Ewe · 15/03/2010 12:29

Oh yes, period tracker is very useful!

Yes, MN app, hurry up puh-leaaaseeee. We've been waiting ages and ages.

I have an iPhone (am posting from lidl carpark on it now) and adore it, my favorite apps are Vouchercloud which gives you discount vouchers for shops/eateries for the location you are in, Facebook, profanity, and q crpqrking one but I can't remember what it is called Apple have fantastic customer service, my 8 month old iPhone was replaced for free on Saturday with a brand new one as it was making a noise when vibrating, the carphone warehouse where I got it from wanted to send it away for 28 days to repair it but Apple replaced it there and then with no quibble!

BadgersPaws · 15/03/2010 12:54

There's no need for an MN app, but it would be great if the site was tidied up a bit or a generic more mobile friendly version prepared.

RustyBear · 16/03/2010 21:50
