Anyone got one of these?

Sounds like a good idea as I have a lot of good photos from my pre- digital days - or just a waste of time?

I can't see the point of buying one for normal photos, you might as well buy a normal "flat bed" scanner that will scan anything not just photos of a certain size.

However I can see the point if all you have is negatives.

I'd also guess that you'll get a higher quality scan from a negative then you would a photo, that's a complete guess though...

Most decent flat bed scanners come with a negative adapter.

They'll also scan other stuff so more versatile than above
