HELP! Replaced new document with old in Microsoft Word

I fear I'm doomed...

But I just replaced on the C: drive the version of a Word document I worked on all day yesterday, with one from my flash disc from earlier in the week. IDIOT.

Is there any way to find the 'new' version that was on C: or is it gone forever...?

Have you checked rcyle bin?

Or under start and search typing in the file name. May bring it up.

also check the flash disc.

if you did it yesterday then worst case you can take your setting back to beginning of today
