Does anyone know how I can take an A4 document and make it print 4 times on the same page i.e. each copy would be a quarter of an A4 sheet?

TIA

you have to c&p the content so you have 4 identical pAges
then in th Print ddialogue box choose Layout -> 4 pages per sheet

MmeBlueberry · 18/02/2010 12:53

You can set it to print 4 copies and then ask for 4 copies per sheet.

PortofinoLovesPancakes · 18/02/2010 12:55

In PRINT, click on Properties, then Tray/Layout, then In the Multiple Up drop down box, change it to 4 up. Well that's how it works on mine at work anyway.....

nickelbabe · 18/02/2010 12:55

do what mmebluebeerry says, but remember that you have to turn the page and reprint on each sheet of paper.
there must be a way to do it without having to print again on the same sheet, but i've never ofund it.

MrsBadger · 18/02/2010 12:56

mmeblueberry, for some reason if I try it that way it prints 4 a4 pages with one small copy in the top left corner of each...

nickelbabe · 18/02/2010 12:56

ooh, interesting: mmeblueberry and portofinolovesPancakes replying at the same time.

yum.

nickelbabe · 18/02/2010 12:57

print them one at a time.
don't choose four copies, choose 1 copy four times.

flashharriet · 18/02/2010 13:45

Brilliant, thank you - have followed MrsBadger's and it's worked, except my document is landscape and it's printed it as four little portraits...

MrsBadger, please come back

you still have to choose the paper orientation in the printing section.
so if it's landscape, then still choose landscape.

flashharriet · 18/02/2010 15:24

Aha! Still doesn't work in landscape and I can't get it to work with a border but have managed to get it to look OK in portrait, so THANK YOU one and all!
