How do I find out what my in and out going servers are please?

I have just got a new phone and need to set up my email. TIA.

Ooh - I want to know this as well. I had a prob with my iPod touch as disabled the email and don't know how to put it back.....

ipod touch - would guess the email is in Settings/mail, contacts, calenders (assuming same as Iphone.

fab - if it is an iphone and you are using one of the big emails like hotmail it should do it all for you...

you should be able to find that out from the help pages from your service provider.

It is a samsung genio slide and it keeps asking me for the info .

Can't help - sorry - just know mine is pop3 incoming and smtp outgoing... (hotmail account)

It has pop3 already and I have put in smpt but is now askin for smpt server. Still

What does it say for pop3?
Mine says pop3.live.com then the smtp is the same - smtp.live.com

smtp not smpt - check you are putting the right order !

Your ISP should be able to provide those details.

Or look at the email program on your machine and copy the settings.

If it's online web based email there should be details available online. Confirm which web email, if any you use, and links can be provided.

I have been sent the instructions to set up vodafone email but that isn't right. I can't get it to work.

for Vodafone mine is

mail.vodafone.net (for pop3)
smtp.vodafone.net (for out going message server)

don't know if that is any use
