Last time I was in UK (we live in Switzerland) my mobile bill was almost £100 dearer than normal.

I just looked up the usage for that time and see. It looks like this:

02.07 11:18:58 internet UK, Orange 100 .36
02.07 11:19:45 internet UK, Orange 100 .36
02.07 11:20:14 internet UK, Orange 100 .36
02.07 11:20:54 internet UK, Orange 100 .36
02.07 11:23:28 internet UK, Orange 100 .36
02.07 11:23:42 internet UK, Orange 100 .36
02.07 11:28:14 internet UK, Orange 100 .36
02.07 11:29:42 internet UK, Orange 100 .36
02.07 11:32:09 internet UK, Orange 100 .36

Now, I know I am slightly addicted to my iPhone but I don't think that I am using it as much as that. Could that be the push function for emails?

I have a travel bundle that gives me 5mb free internet usage, that should normally be enough, should it not?

That could very well be the push service doing that.

To be honest when travelling it's probably best to disable the iPhone's internet connectivity completely to make sure that nothing is going on.

Yes, think I might do that.

We are in France a lot and it costs me a fortune to use the internet there.
