Drying out an I-phone

My DD (21 months) plonked mine in a full glass of water (I know, I know, but she's very quick!). All functions seem to be working apart from the speaker. This is more annoying for her than me, as she likes to watch videos on U-Tube (Balamory, Fifi, Wiggles... the list goes on) and recorded videos of her with her cousins. However, it's not the same without sound.
I've put it on the radiator overnight, no joy. Any other suggestions? Do have insurance, but if anyone can help rather than go through the hassle of going through insurance, it would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Thanks Tiggergirl. Gave your technique a go, but doesn't seem to have worked. Maybe it was too late for it to work? Will keep trying (& also pop phone on radiator) to see if it helps!

Put any electronic item that has got wet into a big container of rice and let it sit for a day or 2 before trying to operate it.
It works a treat but you do have to leave it to work its magic.
