6months into 18month contract & phone is knackered... What can I do?

My Sony Ericsson c905 has given up the ghost - the 'C' button refuses to budge so if I make a mistake when texting I can't change anything and have to start again. Also the 'call' button doesn't work any more, so I can't even phone anyone!

Is there anything I can do, should it be under warranty? I got it from mobiles.co.uk and it was a reconditioned phone. Actually, thinking about it, I had to send the first one back as it kept defaulting to 'emergency calls only'...

Or, if there's nothing I can do with this one, can anyone recommend a cheapo handset (pref Sony) that I can buy?

Ebay - there is a phone shop who do new phones (basic at this price obviously!) for about £8 including postage. Great for when you are in a contract and phone gets dropped in the toilet slobbered on by Dc's-- broken.
