Help please.

I have been playing a browser game and since yesterday have had trouble logging in... I have changed my internet browser but no luck.

Any suggestions anyone? I have checked my pc for viruses.

I am a little bit suspicious that my OH has blocked access to this website, although, he has no access to my p.c. and yes, he is mean enough to do that!

I would appreciate any comments...

thanks ladies and gents may be? lol..

If you can get everywhere but that site then it's probably either down or blocked.

Depending on how your home network is set up it's possible to block things without needing to get to your PC.

I need to know how... !!

And yes this is a whole can of worms...

Without knowing how your home network is setup a good first guess might be to rummage around on your router and find out if it can block things and if it's been done that way.

An immediate "fix" might be to use an online web proxy.

For example you could use:
proxify.co.uk/

With sites like that you enter in a URL and the web site goes and gets it for you and displays it. As far as your machine and your network is concerned you only talk to the proxify site.

So if a site is blocked, you can often get around it.

IMPORTANT
However when using that site or one like it anything you do is sent through it. So if you go to a site with passwords then your password goes through it and if the site was dodgy they could steal your passwords.

I think proxify is OK but I don't know that.

So proceed carefully and remember that web sites like Proxify can see and record everything you are doing...
