Why can't i find people on Facebook?

I'm searching on their name. I'm also putting in locations - although it doesn't seem to be working properly. I seem to be getting American people - I'm in UK. Is there something I need to do?

Have you tried e-mail addresses?

It maybe their privacy settings are too high and that's why you can't find them though?

My privacy settings are set so that people whp are not listed as my "friends" cannot find me; I don't appear in their search for my na,e.

haven't got their email addresses. Don't know if they are searchable, but if they're not, how can you find them, seems odd.

I'd change my privacy settings to low for a few days and text them and ask them to add me instead if good friends.
