I hadn't changed the setting on my gmail account but images stopped showing on emails a couple of days ago.
When you click into the email sender details it says that it always shows images from this sender - but it's not showing them!
I know they recently changed something so I went into the bit about what's new and changed my browser setting so it doesn't always use https as it indicated that might stop me seeing images in emails sometimes - but it hasn't made any difference.
I know nothing about technical stuff - anyone have any helpful tips?
Their help didn't help (it said I needed to set it to 'always display images from this sender' but I already have) and they obviously don't want you to contact them unless you really can't use the account, which isn't the case.
