Listening to (e.g) BBC radio on ipod touch?

Have a lovely ipod touch and got some fabbo speakers for Christmas and am now wondering if there's any way I can listen online to radio using it?
Apologies if I'm being thick missing something obvious.

You can certainly listen to BBC radio on it simply by going to the BBC iPlayer website (in Safari), and you can watch TV there too. There are apps for tuning in to the whole world of internet radio but I've never tried them as I only listen to BBC on the iPod. There are also specific "tuner" apps for individual stations like Heart FM, I think, which are free.
