ARGH! ARGH! ARGH! FEcking Wireless, Firewall, IP booting me out...

I keep getting booted out from my Wireless connection (using laptop). It seems to be happening since I upgraded Firefox (but that could be unconnected)

It happens periodically - every 5 mins or so (I haven't timed it exactly)

I have to reset the IP address on the 'connectivity doctor' programme, each time and then reconnect.

It is a pain in the arse: how do I reset it permanently so it doesn't keep kicking me out please?

Anybody? Please - am in danger of quitting MN in frustration.

Have you turned the wireless router on and off?

What happens if you never run Firefox? Does the same problem happen?

Are there other gadgets in your house using the connection? Do they work?
