Um. Have you tried turning it off and on again?

What is the model of the router?

Ive a feeling it might be the firmware - en-us-support.belkin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/497/kw/F6d4230-4%20v1%20security%20light/r_id/166

Set up a system restore point first, just in case! Or be extra safe and register the product and ask on their support forum.

Mousey - many thanks, just had a look at the main page for my computer and it says security is enabled so maybe it just flashes on purpose.

Could another gadget be trying to access the router wirelessly? was chatting to a techie today. doesnt know specific one you have, but says his flashes when he connects using his iphone.

Mousey: All i can think of is my ds i-pod touch. I feel okay about it flashing as it says on my page the security is enabled so hopefully all is okay.
