one key on aptop stopped working. easy soution?

Have tried taking key cover off but appears norma. Even when i press rubber bit it doesn't respond. can i do anything ese? thanks!

if it is a laptop, i done think there is much you can do. we have 2 laptops which have gone the same way. i gather they are connected in groups of 4 or 5 keys and it is sowmthing to do with all that. a right pisser though.

you can try buying a replacement set of keys on ebay or similar. but if the pad isn't working without the key, then I wouldn't be too hopeful of a replacement working either.
