iTunes can't find my iPod touch

But it can find DD's shuffle

If I click on My computer my ipod is listed as connected but under "Scanners and Cameras"

I have searched under iTunes Help but can't find anything.

Does anyone have any ideas or a helpline number?

Thank you.

try resetting the ipod (no idea how but if you google "reset ipod touch" you should be able to find instructions" then try again.

Have you tried turning the iPod off and on? Not just sending it to sleep but really turning it off by holding the sleep/wake button down for about 10 seconds until the choice comes up to turn it off.

If that doesn't work then the way you reset is to hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button for about 10 seconds.

If none of that helps then try these suggestions out (I'm presuming that you're using Windows?):

What a day!!!

I have spent most of the day messing around with it and pod2pc.

Apple have now decided that it is malfunctioning and are going to repair/replace it. It still works fine, finds internet, plays games, updates aps, plays music etc etc but it won't connect with iTunes.

I have loads of music on it so bought a full verson of pod2pc to try and get it off iPod and back on to iTunes but that was a waste of $30. I will use it to get DD's music onto my iTunes which wil be quicker than doing it all myself.

Don't you just love technology!
