Starting a blog

i'm thinking of starting a blog to record my journey into the world of the SAHM (so I'll talk about learning to cook properly, looking after the kids, managing the house, as well as more "me" based posts). Any recommendations for a free and easy website to do it through? I know mumsnet has blogs, but I'd rather not link it to my mumsnet profile so I can let "real" people read it and not be able to read about my sex life and so on that I post about on here

I use www.blogger.com. It is very easy to use, lots of other websites support it (so you can post links rom other websites direct to the blog) and I can blog from my iPhone.

I would suggest using a hosted blog, so you don't need to maintain the software.
Try out blogger.com - it's now owned by Google, so like many of their products is quiet easy to use. Other mums use it, here is an example, Single Motherhood Challenges.

Right, I'm going to use blogger, now what should I call it? I've used ButterPie as my name...

In fact, I rather like that name, I may change my name on here, but then i could be traceable on here. Then again, anyone who knows me would probably be able to guess that I call myself LissyGlitter online anyway.

butterpieinthesky.blogspot.com/

That's me. Does anyone else use blogspot? Can I read your blogs?

This is mine

Good first post, Lissy. I like the term 'my gentleman friend'. Heard an elderly lady use it recently.
