Right, we need a Different ISP!

Any reccomendations that doesn't cost a bomb.

Currently with plusnet and have been for years. Now in the evenings we can't watch iplayer you tube etc. We don't play games or watch ;loads of things, just occaisionally. Mainly we browse (a lot) on here a lot etc etc. I'd like to keep my phone with plusnet though as my parents and sis are on it too

Couldn't you upgrade to the next level of plusnet so you get more GB?

Apparently people still having the same problems with them even when they have upgraded

Would suggest looking on ThinkBroadband.com (and possibly posting in the PN forum).

If your line (rental) is with Plus.Net then I think you may have problems trying to get any other ISP service on that line - but I could be wrong - a complaint about your problems might drag Mand or one of the other Tech Support people out to look at your account (so they may as you to PM - private message - them with your PN username).

Incidentally there may be a number of 'noisy' ex-PN customers on the TB forum making snide comments about the service, the staff, or why you ought to change ISP, and you might wish to suggest they keep their views to themselves if they have nothing useful to contribute in relation to your current connection / access / speed problem - they have been 'lurking' for years even though they went off to other ISPs and from time to time they get silenced by the moderators, but they keep coming back and just stir up trouble.

Sorry to read of problems and hope the support staff sort it out for you OK promptly. If they don't, then you can examine the options with them about your line/another ISP.
