Canon IP4600 printer - need some help please??

Ooooh, could anyone spare a minute please? I have created a Word doc, set my left margin very wide, because I want to create some Thank you cards for my boys recent party. But I cant work out the settings on the Printer, all seems in order, incl. the preview of the print. Shows that the pictures and text are on the far Right hand side.

However, when it comes to print, the pictures come out splat right in the middle of the page.

any tips or ideas please?

I've always found margins tricky when it comes to printing.
When I do cards, I set the page to landscape & format it in two columns. Then I put the text/pictures I want on the front in the second (ie right hand) column.

Morning RustyBear, yeah I did that too, but still it wouldnt print. Never mind, I tried it in Publisher in the end. Thing is, it costs a fortune in inks and paper just practicing!
