Who should I follow?

Who do you follow?

How do you find people to follow?

Is it like FB, that people's tweets appear on the timeline?

Thanks. Am practically cave like in my inability to grasp new things..

If you are cave-like, I am just post-Big Bang

I don't even get the concept, let alone what you actually do on there

ANd I'm the same with FB - just don't geddit

I agree. I just don't understand, and I wondered if I'd missed something. Good to know I haven't

You know how some people will just not STOP talking even when you are trying to watch a film? Well Twitter means they can now silently do it online and leave you in peace.

No one will listen to them, but then no one ever did really

In that sense it serves a good and useful purpose.

Never felt the need to use it, not even when some of the online stores run competitions and suggest people follow them on Twitter.

Similarly, not bothered about FaceBook, MySpace, FriendsReunited, etc.

Spend a lot of time on the web over the last X years, but suspect these have had significant free promotion because most radio shows plug the fact they have a FaceBook page or use Twitter, and I suppose the one benefit is that it avoids those short-code numbers for SMS that hit senders for 25p on top of their normal text fee...

I tend to use e-mail if I want to contact a radio show.
