Sticky keys on laptop

I think that I one of the dd's has spilt something at some point on the laptop and a couple of the keys are sticking.

Is there anything that I can do to clean/fix them?
Or is it a repair job elsewhere?

You should be able to (gently) lever them off and clean under them...

Be careful the the little buggers keys don't fly off and hide in some inaccessible corner when you do it, mind. Or do it in a room with no furniture for them ot hide under.

And am I the only one who had an inappropriate chortle at why one's laptop keys might be sticky? Yes? I'll get me coat then.....

Are you suuuuuuuuuure it's safe to take them off (the keys that is Polendra ) - I'm notorius for breaking things and it's dd's laptop - she'd kill me!!!

yes, just make sure you note where they come from (partic if dd touchtypes! - always some wag in the IT dept that switches keys over..
