Almighty hum coming from fridge - does it just need levelling?

It is so loud I can hear it from 2 floors above with the doors shut. We have tried sticking bits of wood under the feet but it just goes on humming.

And while I'm on the subject of fridges how do I unblock the bit the water drains into at the back inside? I have tried poking a long flexible rod into it and have also tried sucking out the gunk with a straw but it's still blocked. It is built into a cabinet so not easy to pull out from the wall. This is a different fridge btw.

Has this got a freezer compartment too?

Ours did this when our frost free freezer vents got frosted over and the fridge then didn't work properly.

The solution was to turn it off for 24 or 48 hours (can't remember which) to let it defro

'defrost' obviously.
