A facebook app can't affect anything outside facebook and it can't access or alter your password.

It can however send annoying messages and create photos etc. It can also harvest data and sell it to marketers.

Sounds like someone has a grudge against fancheck (which is a horrible spammy app)

Just delete it anyway. It's a rubbish app and you'll keep the pic it made. It's a good idea to delete all old facebook apps anyway. I'm particularly suspicious of that circle of moms one. I bet it's selling all your info to Nestle.
