Does anyone know a website for a private forum?

A group of friends of mine use a forum website at present but have recently found out that the website can be accessed by others. (By googling our user names then registering)

As one of our group recently went through a very nasty divorce, we are concerned that her ex might be able to hack into our private forum.

Does anyone know of a website we can use to chat on?

Do you mean you would like to set up your own mini-forum to use just for yourselves?

One of you will act as administrator and veto all people looking to join. You can set it so that only registered people can read the posts.

set up a fb group and make it private. some of us on here have done that. names do not show up and membership is very securely scrutinised

you can do this with a google group I think - you can make it private by invitation only and you are the adminsitrator.
